NOT FOR PROFIT

The team at Franklin Shanks are passionate about the Not For Profit (NFP)/NDIS sector and even more, our NFP Specialist Ross Chaplin

‘Personally, I am passionate about disability services and I have dedicated much of my working life into this sector. Being a ‘Club Member’, it is my duty to provide some of my time to the sector on a pro-bono basis’.

The NFP sector plays a significant role in the economic and community fabric of Australian society. NFP entities enrich every aspect of our community and provide a voice, an opportunity, a sense of belonging and quality of life improvements for many. Properties, owned or leased, by NFP organisations are incredibly diverse and range from Community Facilities, SDA Housing to general commercial real estate. An organisations’ property function plays a critical role in aligning with and achieving the NFP organisations’ goals, objectives and mission.

As these properties are often regarded with significant meaning of social beliefs, they can present their own challenges for maintenance, design and accessibility, especially as their requirements change and so too government programs and funding.

We offer property portfolio and lease management services to NFP organisations to reduce their portfolio risks and to provide greater clarity and strategies moving forward.

Ross has used innovative approaches to help us find new leased properties for our services, including negotiating hard with landlords to get us the best possible deal.
